Farewell

I know this is late, but I still wanted to post it.
This has been a pretty fun English class this year, I'm not much of an early person but I still enjoyed this class a lot. Despite not having very many friends in there, Dr. Hartman was still able to make this class enjoyable. I just wanted to say thanks, and I hope everyone has a great winter break, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year! :)

Standardized testing paper

So we everything we have done in class is all said and done. But the last thing we did was go over one another's papers from different groups. I went over Amanda's and she went over mine and we were both able to leave each other valuable information that will be useful when writing the final draft. She told me that I need to use my resources more and totally agreed with the topic and had similar stories of mine. So I feel pretty good about my paper thus far. So more resources it is, and possibly a couple more revises, then I should be good to go for monday!

Halloween :)

I'm so pumped for Halloween, I'm glad my hometown is deciding to have it on saturday that way I don't have to stay home super late on sunday. I'm going as the joker as I said before on here, and it's going to be awesome. I hope everyone has a Happy Halloween! :)

Research

I feel confident about our research paper, because we chose the topic of why standardized testing isn't fair to test how well a student is in school. Mainly because most of what teachers teach us isn't even on the standardized tests. We are either over prepared or not prepared at all. So we feel it isn't fair to say that the scores students get on these tests should decide their capability to do well in school. Josh, Parker, and I have a great deal of information and I think we can pull off our assignment quite well. I'm excited to see how well my arguementive skills can be put to the test on paper.

Today has been eventful

So today has been very eventful, first class today was history 150 and we had our exam # 2 and i'm pretty sure I aced it! Next was English and we got in our groups for our discussion groups. My partners are Josh and Parker and even though we don't have a topic yet, i'm sure we'll find a great topic to discuss. Oh and I also have a chemistry exam later at 3:30, I hope I do good...

Proud of myself!

So I've been working out with my roommate, everyday we do a different workout. Yesterday we did shoulder workouts and I did alright on that, but when it came to where we walk/jog afterwards I was actually able to jog 5 laps!!! I was proud of myself. We did the whole walk 2 jog 2 routine, so I should have jogged 6 but the last one he wanted to actually run. So I had to stop after the 5th one. All and all I felt good about and I still do, hopefully I can do the same today if not better! :)

These guys are too good for words.

I encourage you to listen if you are interested in hearing good hardcore band(s).
But if you know you do not like this kind of music don't listen because it probably won't change your mind.

The first band is Asking Alexandria with their song (The Final Episode)

The Second band is The Devil Wears Prada with their song (HTML Rulez D00D)

The Third band is Miss May I with their song (Relentless Chaos)

If you would like any information about the bands or about the lyrics let me know and I'll do my best to give you the answer. Listen and enjoy.
